Ancient Coin Jewelry from the Holyland

Collection Features Roman era and Second Temple period coins.

The Antique Coin Collection – By Lily's Jewelry
Our collection of gold and silver jewelry includes a selection of authentic 2000-year-old coins that represent the worlds of commerce, love, and faith in that period. We have incorporated 2000 yrs of coinage within gold and silver jewelry, adding gems which are characteristic of the colors of the period. The semi-precious gemstones selected include: tourmaline, emerald, olivenite, topaz, opal, moonstone, and labradorite.
The coins selected represent universal motifs and appeared on artifacts and decorations on the Temple of Jerusalem. The selection focuses on coins that were used by the general public in its daily commerce, including those known as the "widow's mite" coins. From the coins chosen some portray sheaves, the date palm, the cornucopia, and the anchor star - all are original bronze coins. Other coins bear images that were minted by Roman emperors, procurators, ministers, or members of the nobility throughout the expanses of the Roman Empire.
According to prevailing beliefs of 2000 yrs, each of these authentic coins attributes it’s possessor with special mannerisms and when making his wish, the individual is to lightly rub the coin with thumb and finger, so that it will henceforth be fulfilled.

The coins included in the collection are directed as follows:

the cornucopia coin:
towards wealth, prosperity, and good fortune

the anchor star coin: towards the strengthening of body and soul, joy, and the glow in one's eyes

vine leaves coin: towards good health, fertility, and pleasure the amphora coin: towards victory and, primarily the ability to contend with difficulties

sheaves coin: towards career and financial advancement the lily coin: towards contentment; represents desire, elegance, and style silver countenance: towards achievements and high social status in all aspects of life.
These coins are the very heart of this treasured collection, and thus we are all handed the opportunity to bear them and be blessed by their presence.
